How We Use Your Data
Martello Security collects your data so that we can:

- Process any purchase or subscription you initiate with us.
- Contact you about our products or services.
When we process any purchase, we may send your data to, and also use the resulting information from, credit reference agencies to prevent fraudulent purchases.
How We Handle Your Data
We securely store your personal information only at data centers within the European Union (“EU”). Any personal information we hold is encrypted using industry recommended standards.
Personal information you provide when subscribing to any of our newsletters or information lists is retained until such times as you unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe we retain information to ensure you stay unsubscribed.
Personal information you provide when registering interest in a product or service is retained for up to 18 months. Should you not reconfirm your interest or become a customer within 18 months your data will be removed from our information systems.
Personal data provided as part of a contract with Martello Security will be retained for up to 7 years after the contract has ended.
In some cases, we may need to keep personal data for longer than specified above. Examples of this would include system back-ups required for potential business continuity and disaster recovery purposes, or reatining records in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
Suppliers and Your Data
Personal data that we hold may be transferred to, stored and processed outside the European Union (“EU”) by our third party suppliers. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EU who work for one of our suppliers. This will only occur where the other country’s data protection laws have been approved as adequate by the European Commission or where equivalent or better safeguards are in place.
